By visiting the site, growers can find information on scouting, conducting root digs and management options to help protect their yields by controlling damaging corn insects such as corn rootworms. Growers can also access management insights from a variety of resources in the agricultural community, including university entomologists, agronomists and technical experts from Monsanto and its seed company partners. Additional features include audio files of grower interviews and an AgDay insect education news series. Farmers will be able to use the site to e-mail Monsanto about the performance of their YieldGard Plus roots, enabling them to be featured in a print story, radio or television interview. Future additions to the site will include results of a stick trap program being conducted in 11 Midwestern states this season to help farmers monitor for the western corn rootworm variant.
