Through the America’s Farmers advocacy program, we’re recognizing Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio farmers for their hard work and commitment to their industry and community.
- With the help of farmers, America’s Farmers Grow Communities will award another $3 million in 2017 to help support causes that make a positive impact in rural communities across America. Farmers have the opportunity to enroll for a chance to win a $2,500 donation to direct toward their favorite community nonprofit organization. Farmer enrollment for the 2018 program will begin again August 1, 2017. Learn more.
- America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders, partners with farmers to award rural youth $1,500 scholarships to support their studies in ag-related fields after high school. This year, more than a half-million dollars in scholarships are available to high school seniors and college students in rural communities across the country. Grow Ag Leaders scholarships are available in a variety of fields including: farming, agronomy, education, science, technology, business, communications and more. Learn more.
- The America’s Farmers Grow Rural Education program offers farmers the opportunity to nominate rural public school districts to compete for merit-based grants of either $10,000 or $25,000. Eligible farmers can nominate their school district from January 1 – April 1, 2017. Learn more.
- Recognize your mom, wife, sister, etc., for all she does for your family, farm, community and agriculture. Nominate her for Farm Mom of the Year. Five regional winners will receive $3,000 each and one grand prize winner will receive an additional $2,000. Each winner will also nominate a charity to receive a $2,000 grant donation.
